Historic Mardi Gras Inn

The front desk staff member was kind, accommodating, and professional.

The room was old, dusty, and poorly maintained. The bedsheets had visible hair and cigarette burns, and the floors were sticky. The air conditioner and heater were extremely loud and clearly in need of cleaning or new filters. The shower had very low water pressure and was barely functional. The building itself felt run-down, and everything in the room and surrounding areas seemed like it was on the verge of breaking. The area was also very loud at night, with disruptive and inconsiderate noise from other guests. Given the condition of the room and the overall experience, this hotel was grossly overpriced. My allergies flared up severely due to the amount of dust and filth in the room, to the point that I checked out early and chose to spend extra time at the airport instead. Overall, this stay was uncomfortable and unpleasant. I strongly recommend avoiding this property.

The convenience to local bars, food and stores. The price is budget friendly as well.

Could use updating and new beds/bedding.

Cute place, loved the colors. Yari was absolutely phenomenal!

It was not very clean. Hair in the sink and shower, mirror and glass looked like it hasn't been cleaned in some time, outside sheet on bed had stains from previous guests.

The rooms were terrible

The property itself was within a decent area with decent places to eat outdoors and staff was very welcoming.

The Hotel itself lacked expectations in keeping the room clean or with overall upkeep with the facilities. Our room had very dirty floors that looked like they hadn’t been mopped or swept in a while, air conditioning system did not work properly, sheets and pillows had a musty smell and stains. The bathroom very few towels. Towels looked like they hadn’t been cleaned. To add to this, there were roaches constantly appearing within the room and bathroom area.
