We were there for the Dwight Yoakum concert

Chose this hotel due to its central location. Valet parking needed as alternative was street parking. Check in efficient and staff member knowledgeable. Room was spacious and well appointed.Decor addresses the history of the building. Went downtown in search of dinner but disappointed with lack of choice and surprised by how many businesses were closed down. The hotel houses a speakeasy in the basement and you need to know the secret to gain entry!

Lovely old building, beautifully maintained! Loved the restaurant and bar(s)!😜Very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the room size.

Hotel staff members were exceptional. The restaurant and bar service were equally incredible. I would give 5 stars if I could.

Charming corner room close to cool things

Staff could be a tad cool (although valets were exceedingly nice)

The Barfield is a quirky hotel with a basement “speakeasy” type bar. Rooms were large but wish that they didn’t have lights with automated sensors. The last thing we want when quietly relaxing is to have all the lights go out on you. Hotel staff, including in the bar and the restaurant were all great and super friendly.
