Maldron Hotel Sandy Road Galway

The room was spacious and there was a lot of space in the room, the complimentary water in the fridge was a nice touch, along with the teas and coffees!! The beds were ultra comfy and a great size for one person each!

Staff at reception were very helpful. Lots of information leaflets. Room was basic but very adequate.

Not alot, a very small crib would be there were soup spoons for breakfast and had to look for teaspoons...as I say it's a very small crib.

My child ate at the hotel restaurant and vomited all night. Uncomfortable pillows. You can hear all the neighbors

Eher dürftige Aukunft über touristische Angebote. Die Stadt ist zu Fuss nur entlang einer Hauptverkehrsachse erreichbar.

The bar staff need to let the Guinness settle for longer before topping up the pint.

Blonde woman working the breakfast area was extremely rude. I was staying with my elderly parents and waiting for them to come down for breakfast. There was no staff present when I arrived down , I just sat anywhere. It was only after I got some food and was in the middle of eating that this blonde staff member appeared and starting pointing at me to other staff members. I had sat in a seat that was ‘reserved’ but I didn’t know and would have moved if asked. Again there was no one to show me where I was meant to sit, I was not feeling well and lacking sleep so just sat anywhere. She then proceeded to make passive aggressive comments and continued to point me out to staff members the entire time I was eating ( while not saying anything to me personally) this whole situation made me so uncomfortable and ruined my breakfast. Mind you my mother is recovering from serious shoulder replacement surgery and I am pregnant, so I emphasise not every disability is visible. This staff member was so bothered by something so small, and her behaviour was so strange. I have 2 children at home who would not behave this way. While I was walking up to the food area with my elderly mother she continued to point at us and smirked when I noticed. I then told her I would be leaving a review. I would encourage the managers to look at the cctv and you will see this entire exchange. Honestly a disgrace
