Luna del fuego

A good location to stop on the longer drive from Fes to Merzouga. The family that hosted us was very friendly, their meals were delicious. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. An affordable option in a remote location.

We don't usually complain about a firm bed, but unfortunately the mattress (and pillows) were so hard that we slept very badly. Harder than a futon style mattress I'd say, sleeping on your back was the only option, and my pillow was so hard that my ear actually felt sore in the morning from trying to lie on my side. It may seem silly now, but it really was difficult to sleep. We didn't say anything to the host as we left early the next morning, so I'm unsure if there would have been the option to switch to a different room or pillows.

This is a very authentic place to stay. Colorful rooms. Nice community seating. Dinner was nice and so was breakfast. Best vegetarian tajine during our trip. The family running the place is very nice. Special side story: Our son had forgotten his school iPad at the accomodation. The host took it to the next bus station and sent it to our next stop. What a great service even after we had left!

Nice and simple place in the middle of the mountains in rural zone.

Excellente étape ! Situé dans un cadre magnifique au dessus de la palmeraie face aux montagnes. Aménagement intérieur et extérieur beau et confortable. Un couscous délicieux. Et une promenade conseillée dans une vieille kasbah à proximité super ! On a adoré !

Un séjour merveilleux à Luna del Fuego : repos délicieux, vue magnifique et emplacement très calme. Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés ! Un grand merci !
