Days Inn by Wyndham Ridgefield

I reserved a "King Suite" and was charged for that, however the room they gave me only had a double bed. This was obviously not a suite, either. On asking about restitution, I was informed the manager was "unavailable"... still no reply or restitution received to date.

Noise from other rooms all night, key didnt work , just had them open it with there master key , so i could get in and no key if i had to leave

It was perfect location for our needs and what was expected for the price. The bed had no support, pillows were feather or feather alternative (I requested no feather bedding. My husband's allergies are so bad he reacts to the hypoallergenic feather alternatives even). The furniture had burn holes and stains and carpet and wallpaper also were ripped. Location was 40 min away from our trip reason and there was a wonderful Mexican restaurant in the complex. I would definitely return to the restaurant but not the hotel.

Just a little touch about the menu. Because so many different people or country stays there.

This was a very last minute booking, as snow kept me from getting home and I needed to make arrangements to stay overnight somewhere, but figured this was a brand I recognized and could work with. The girl at the desk was on the phone when I arrived as well as the next morning, and seemed bothered to help me and annoyed by my questions, such as if there were anywhere I could fill my water bottle. She informed me there was no water anywhere on the facility other than that available for purchase. She would also not match the online price, so she instead watched as I went through the whole process of an online booking, rather than just helping me in person since I was already there. The room was enormous which was great, and even had a couch and felt almost suite sized, however there were cigarette burns and stains to the couch, hairs on the bed, and a flat sheet laid over the bed rather than a fitted sheet. I figured I would at least enjoy breakfast, but was unimpressed by the plain slices of bread, incorrectly labeled cereal that looked like it had been there quite some time, and half of a single bagel....and still no water. :(

It was good. The place could use a little work but it was comfortable.

Weird stains on surfaces, empty condom box in drawer, bleach stains on blanket, very cold room.

I cancelled my reservation on time via their front desk and told them I might rebook. I called them back and told them 2 more times that no I would not make it. That's three calls all early in the day because they said cancellations had to be called in by 4pm. all three of my calls were early. They charged me for my stay anyway. I disputed this with them and hotels.com and they refunded me 1 day so they charged me for 3 nights when I had clearly cancelled. This is nothing short of robbery. Do not stay here and avoid this place at all costs. They just lost potentially thousands of dollars a year from me as I go to this location often. Its not that nice of a place anyway, its 70's decore and serious no frills hotel. I did my part and called to cancel in time and they robbed me.

“Breakfast included “ meant mislabeled cereals, and some bread and tiny bagel for a DISGUSTING toaster. The room looked NOTHING like the picture, no remote for tv, suspiciously stained couch, blood stains INSIDE a light shade, and a wobbly toilet.
