My wife & I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott Wichita East at Plazzio for two weeks. We became acquainted with the staff while we were there & were delighted by them. Meghan, Rebecca, Tiffany, & Tommy were on station at the front desk. They were all especially helpful, friendly, and efficient. Richard was in the kitchen for breakfast & always had something good, especially fresh fruit. He was always upbeat, friendly, & cheerful, which was a good way to start the day. My wife credited the breakfast for getting her through the arduous days we had in Wichita. Les, the grounds keeper, was always first thing in the morning picking up the trash that people discarded around the property. He kept the property clean, neat, & inviting for everyone arriving at the hotel. Tyler, the manager, was very friendly & attentive. I think he has done an excellent job hiring for this hotel.

The hotel doesn't follow Marriott pet policy. I haven't gotten 1 good night of sleep due to constant dog barking. When I complained to the desk, I was told that "Dogs bark. That's what dogs do." Rather than address the issue with the guests with dogs, they decided that I should move to a downgraded room for the same price. It seems like that's the offer that should have been extended to the guests with dogs. Will not stay here again.
