Taj Chandigarh

Location, taste of food, food & beverages staff at breakfast & dinner buffet especially Mr.Pankaj who was always smiling & helping us.

Well this was my 6th time visiting Taj, Chandigarh & Taj is known for its warm welcome & great staff but this time your staff was not upto the mark. We were welcomed nicely by front desk but the people who were arranging tables at buffet were standing still. No smile, no info & during check out the person was quite nervous. Your staff seemed more confused, nervous & cold this time. Don't loose your uniqueness that is your warmth, otherwise we guests needs to search for some better options nearby...

Stopped at Taj Chandigarh for a night while driving back to Ahmedabad from Shimla. The Good: Check-in was seamless, and they kindly upgraded our room due to my Platinum loyalty status. The room was good, and the In-Room Dining we ordered twice was absolutely delicious. Check-out and the arranged airport drop-off were also handled flawlessly. The Bad: The breakfast service was a disaster and felt like a 2-star establishment, not a Taj. The restaurant was chaotic. We were seated at an unprepared table with no water, no napkins, and missing cutlery. I had to chase down staff for everything. To make matters worse, the staff and managers exhibited highly unprofessional behaviour—completely ignoring our table while crowding around a foreign couple to give them VVIP treatment. A server did eventually bring us a good Amritsari Kulcha from the kitchen, but the overall experience was a huge letdown. I left feedback about this exact breakfast issue in July 2024, so it's clear management isn't reading reviews or making changes. If you can't handle the breakfast load, add staff or open more space. Everything else was great, but breakfast was unacceptable.

Taj luxury promise

Room size was not as expected.

It was my birthday celebration stay, and taj's service was excellent. Special efforts by Harjeet, mansi and yamini really made my day. A special thanks to the staff of Taj chandigarh for making my day special.

Comfortable stay at the hotel. Great housekeeping by Ms Harjeet and her staff. Very courteous and accommodating staff.

Air conditioner was not working.I had to use a table fan during my stay.
