We had the most relaxing stay at Trang An Lamia Bungalow. It was the perfect break from the busier side of Vietnam. The staff were always so accommodating, the food was incredible and their little dog Bong was very friendly.

La chambre avec piscine privée est top mais nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude la 1er journée et 1er nuit.. il a donc fallu utiliser la salle de bain commune (pour d'autres bungalow sans salle d'eau). La chaudière a été réparée mais nous ne sommes rester que 2 nuits. Aucun geste commercial pour cela alors que nous payons un prix plus cher pour une chambre avec petit bassin. La piscine commune n'est pas tres entretenu car elle est trouble. La nourriture est correcte mais un peu cher car nous sommes isolé géographiquement. Au Global, j'ai l'impression que la qualité du service est dégradé par rapport aux commentaires que j'ai pu voir il y a 2 ans.. tres probablement car ils ont ouvert un autre complexe hotelier à côté : " Lamia bamboo retreat" qui est plus chic!

The hotel had a beautiful village feel, and staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a beautiful dinner at the resort and also the breakfast was was very good.

The pool didn’t look as clean as expected. You really need a scooter to get around as it is away from other sight seeing places.

The staff were so helpful and kind, even making sure we had a light snack and coffee before opening hours. They booked our transportation from Sapa which was very helpful. We realllllly loved the breakfast- absolutely delicious. They always had fun music playing at their restaurant which improved the vibe. The views were so stunning and the plants were beautiful. The wifi worked well which was a bit uncommon at other locations during our time in Vietnam :) We challenged ourselves to critter exposure with the open concept bathroom lol- we met a couple of frogs... it was awesome. No bugs or critters in our room (that we saw!)

We wished we had booked a bungalow with a patio as there were few places to lounge outside. Felt as though we had to lay in our bed with the curtain closed (due to the very social layout) unless we wanted to sit at the restaurant. The pool area looked as though it could be maintained a tad. I don't believe this is the property's fault but we did receive several spam messages asking us to confirm our booking by clicking links on Whatsapp. The property warns you of this when you book. Kind of strange they knew all of our info.

Beautiful property! Loved that the only noises I heard were natural. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room is fantastic, the restaurant is also excellent. Loved my stay here and highly recommend if you are looking for a quiter stay in the Ninh Binh area.
