JOIVY Energetic 2BR Apt w/workspace, by the Santa Justa Lift, in Baixa

Please be aware!!!! Communication is terrible! We arrived before check-in time, which is 3:00pm. My husband and I called the number which was provided multiple times… with no answer. It’s like trying to get a hold of the wizard of Oz. Only communication was through Expedia email. Imagine traveling for an entire 24 hrs! Multiple luggage with a family of 4! We were stuck on the street-directly in front of the apartment building with zero access to anyone!!!Please know before you go!!!! The check-in platform is a nightmare! Multiple attempts to only have it freeze and have to reattempt again. After numerous calling finally someone answered and she was the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered!!! She needs a refresher course in customer service. She had a rude tone from the moment she answered and she ended up hanging up on me as I was venting and explaining the horrible experience so far!! The neighboring restaurants new what was going on and made us aware that many people like us end up stranded for hours. My family are not new to traveling. We recently had a beautiful trip to Italy staying at 3 different locations with 3 different check-ins and they were all 5 stars!! Zero hassle! I have all the emails saved some with out response. The apartment has not been deep cleaned. The sofas are atrociously dirty with so many stains on them! Shame on the management for allowing this! No where to leave luggage while you wait for your room!
