Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta NW/Kennesaw-Town Center

Was accosted right out of bed by a woman with a roomful of kids running around like animals first thing in the morning waking everyone up. We had opened the door to let the kids know they needed to turn it down and respect others in the hotel. The reactive mother later banged on our door threatening us, saying they had every right because they were “having a sleepover”. Fairly dangerous situation. We got straight out of bed and left. Wasn’t aware Kennessaw was like that….

Check in was quick with friendly desk staff. Our room air conditioner was loud and they sent maintenance up immediately and were not satisfied so they moved us very quickly. Pet friendly which is a must for us. Rooms were clean, beds very! Comfortable. Restaurant and bar staff were phenomenal, breakfast was better than most places we've stayed. Will definitely return

We made reservations here while on the road. I thought I had reserved a standard room, but the confirmation was for an accessible room. This room was “tired” and smelled like a dog inhabited it. The desk clerk confirmed that a dog had likely been in the room and said that online reservation sites were assigning these rooms. The clerk eventually received approval to move us to a much better, odorless room.

I thought breakfast was a little expensive, but good. The room was clean, and comfortable.

I didn't like the additional parking charge. I understand that in a place like NYC, but in a place like Kennesaw, it just made me feel like the hotel was trying to squeeze more money out of me as a customer. It also made the check-in process clunky, because I had a new license plate, and had to go back out to the car to read the plate number in order to finish checking in.

The A/C did not work. They didn’t have any other rooms available to switch to. They did give me a floor fan, which made it bearable.

Indoor pool had mold. The breakfast bar was not free as the information indicated . Very disappointed.

The owners are obviously greedy and trying to squeeze every last dollar out of this tired, old place. The property is poorly maintained (very slow elevators, the elevator inspection certification expired 14 months ago, loose flooring in our room, black hairs in our bathtub), but they gouge a customer by charging for parking in a suburban location and $16.95 for a limited breakfast selection than other HGIs. It is not very expensive, but way overpriced.
