Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Elizabethtown

Great location, great place to stay!

Everything was fine, fairly newly remodeled so all good. Had local Fox affiliate TV on in the morning, so that was annoying!

There eas an odor in the lobby when you entered. Carpet in lobby and room was hideous. Should have had hard floors. Breakfast was disappointing. Keep the food freshly stocked so omelettes don't get hard and bacon limp and greasy. Better still, have scrambled eggs and keep replenishing. Don't put out a huge quantity and let it sit for hours. Have biscuits and gravy. You're in Kentucky for gosh sake. Night clerk was wonderful. Pat was her name. Morning clerk did not even ask me how my stay was. She did not appear to be interested. Very disappointing for a Marriott.

Liked the location, cleanliness , and decor. Breakfast was good and hot. Didn't like that the elevator went out. The suction in the toilet is weak.

You could tell it had recently been remodeled and it was clean and updated looking. Very sophisticated.

Pool was cool on temperature. Hotel is new- hard to find the right street to get to it. Friendly staff.

Lovely remodel. Great facility. It was a pleasure to stay there.

The lobby area is under renovation, making check in rather cumbersome and moving luggage through toy the elevator challenging. If will obvious be improved some, but not the greatest at this time.

Hotel was very, very clean. Smelled pleasant. Did not have the “hotel” smell. Staff was very polite.
