"Green Pool"

We stayed at this hotel as a family, 2 adults and 2 young children. We chose this hotel due to its close proximity to Kennedy Space Centre. The hotel room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfy. We were lucky enough to be staying at the hotel when a Space X rocket was launching from Cape Canaveral. There is a viewing room on the top floor of the hotel which opens 10 mins before launch. The room was a little crowded but we managed to see the rocket launch and it was definitely something i'll never forget! There were a few issues however. Firstly the pool which was unusable due to the cleanliness or lack of, the water was green and there was green slime at the bottom. My children were very disappointed as was I as I was looking forward to a bit of downtime at the pool after spending a week at Disney. Sunloungers were also broken. Shower water took a long time to heat up and there was no English Breakfast tea at breakfast, the food was good though!

Booked 2 rooms 2 months in advance, arrived at hotel waited in line at the check in desk behind a couple that had come in off the street and was making a cold off the street booking with no reservation . Then got to the front of the line to be told sorry we canceled your reservation we are overbooked!!! Literally while we stood there my phone beeped with the cancelation, they literally just wanted us out the way, we later found out they resold our rooms at a higher rate than our booking through booking. Com. Customer service at the hotel was nonexistent, they are just interested in maximum profit not maximum Customer service. Don't stay there its a gamble if you will actually get the room you booked
