Overalls holiday was ok, hotel was good with good friendly staff and well located

The first room we were given had a very bad smell we were unsure what it was until we found mold on the curtains. We asked for a room change which we got the next day. The second room also had signs of mold but had been cleaned. There were no double beds despite us booking a double room. Housekeeping turned up after 5 pm while were getting ready to go out but we had been out of the room all day. We only had our room cleaned once during a 5 day stay. Guests smoked by the pool area and in the rooms despite this listed as a smoke free hotel. We had to pay each day to use the indoor swimming pool and spa which was a surprise. This hotel is not 4 star. We had such a great time in Portugal and ate at some wonderful restaurants. The only disappointment was at the hotel.

Excellent hotel/apartment - very clean and great staff. We also had problems with our transfer back to the airport and the reception staff were amazing and helped us out.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, excellent accommodation and very helpful and friendly staff. The cleanliness of the hotel both inside and outside was to an exceptional high standard.

Avoid the ground floor if you don't want to feel you are in a prison. The deck chairs of the pool guests are right by your balcony door and if you don't keep it close you go mad. The worst rooms are the ones closest to the deck chairs. I was not impressed by the fact that they made no attempt to change the room the following day or any day, as I had requested a view room, even happy to pay more. The pool area is not so nice as all you see is the building. The positive side of the pool is that on one section is deep enough. The bad part is that, closing at 7, they start cleaning the area at 6 - ish so you are being hugely inconvenienced.

The hotel is in a great location far enough away from the hustle and bustle yet close enough to local amenities.

Wifi is shaky in hotel but at least it's free Beds are big Few good English channels on the tv Breakfast is good but could do with more choice and tables need cleaned quicker
