The room and lodge were clean, comfortable and efficient. Extra towels. Decent breakfast (i.e. not cheapie muffins).

Communication. The property is remotely managed and depends upon email communications to provide information like check-in and check-out procedure. However, when traveling for pleasure, I don't check my email often. So for example sending an email a 8am about check-out procedure on the day we are leaving doesn't work. Same with check-in. They could provide this information in advance or on the website.

Great sized accommodation & nicely furnished.

Felt nervous in advance about being able to check-in to lodge with it being unstaffed.

Great place with a cozy cottage feel and some luxurious features, very comfortable bed and linens, good hot shower. Sauna was a big plus, the fireplace was also nice to have. Breakfast was well above average with a good selection (egg, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, and more). But most importantly the staff were really helpful and everything was well maintained. My car battery died and they went out of their way to help jumpstart me again. Location is less than 5 minutes walk to the base of Kicking Horse.

The sauna was great but I do wish they also had a hot tub!
