Hotel Villa Florentina

I received a free room upgrade upon arrival. The air conditioning was a nice, unexpected touch, as Germany was in the middle of an unexpected heat wave. The room was small but very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. I thought the price was a very good value. Location was central to the train station but in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The elevator did not reach all floors but this is really minor, and to be expected at a boutique hotel. I would definitely stay here again when in Frankfurt.

The room had a beautiful balcony. The breakfast was one of the best we had on the trip and the staff was especially nice.

You had to walk a bit to get to the "cute" historic downtown, but it was near the train station. There was construction while we were there, which was not the fault of the hotel. It just made the walk a little more messy. Other than that it was great.

Breakfast was good quality with enough selections. Room was quite clean and nice. Beds were really comfy.

Ein ruhiges Hotel mitten in der Stadt, sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Der Garten ist im Sommer Gold wert.

Das Hotel besticht durch eine sehr gute Lage. Der Hauptbahnhof sowie die Innenstadt mit den Firmensitzen sind fussläufig erreichbar. Darüber hinaus ist die Umgebung angenehm ruhig. An der Sauberkeit des Zimmers gab es überhaupt nichts auszusetzen, so dass man sich sofort wohlfühlen konnte. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet verfügte über eine große Auswahl. Hier sollte jeder etwas finden, um sich ausreichend für den Tag zu stärken. Ein großes Lob gilt auch dem gesamten Personal, immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Rund um eine sehr gute Wahl für den privaten Städtetripp oder die Geschäftsreise.

Nach meinem Aufenthalt kann ich keine negativen Punkte finden.

The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive on more than one occasion -- they almost anticipated my needs and went to extra lengths to deal with things quickly. I would label the high level of service as unusual. For example, I had to leave at 5:30 and they prepared an excellent breakfast to take along on the train to the airport. Breakfast was fine for a three-star, better than one would get in, say, France but not as good as some German breakfasts. Germany sets a high standard and this one had everything that was necessary and a little bit more. And cleanliness! The place is amazingly clean.

Room size -- but that is not really a complaint about, because it was a decent price for what I got. Really, when it comes down to it this is not a hotel I would complain about -- which is unusual.
