Comfort Inn & Suites Alexandria West

The location was right next to a Main Street, and the curtains couldn’t even cover the nonstop light all night long because the track they ran on was 18 inches long. Our bathroom and bathroom door are absolutely destroyed, the bed sheets has 15 plus stains on them, and there was car and refrigerator noise all night long. Breakfast was strongly below average, but the waffles actually tasted decent.

Our room was falling apart! It had dents all over the bathroom and some mold too. The bathroom door wouldn’t close and you have to go to the front desk to get soap. The breakfast is not the best either. They were renovating everything while we were there and the lobby was tiny. The curtain in our room wouldn’t close and there was light coming through all night.

The staff in the kitchen area for exceptionally friendly and nice. The same for the staff outside cleaning and the woman who was at the front during checkout. The breakfast was generous in choice and flavor

The manager who was working the front desk was rude disrespectful and inconsiderate to my friend who was in a wheelchair. The front lobby area is under construction and the only way to get in is through a rotating door which doesn't work well for someone in a wheelchair. We advised her that night we would be leaving the next day. She really stated we would need to email 24 hours before leaving. She is the person you email. The pool which they told other members they don't have is on the side of the building full of swamp water the cover on it has been there so long it is growing 3 ft tall weeds. Rats were running around in the back area where this pool was. Well they had a electric ramp for my friend's wheelchair once you get down to the next level the side doors that go outside. There is no ramp to get off the sidewalk to the parking lot. The room smelled of musk and mold. The TV didn't work. The faucet to the sink when you turn it on had a spray that would spray straight at the wall. The shower around the head of the shower had two inch Gap where drywall was exposed and like that that's a source of the smell. The bottom of the TV cabinet or dresser whichever you'd like to call it was water damaged. I would not send anyone to this hotel.

The mattress was awfully hard not comfortable.. also there was water leaking from the bathroom on the rug which will eventually cause mold

It was good. Lots of options. I would say that it has an amazing patio however it had not been cleaned.

There was a large group of people there and because the patio wasn't cleaned and covered in leaves no one could go out there.

Location

To many smoking rooms that it is almost unavoidable to smell it, it was under construction and they forgot to keep guests comfortable like putting 2 little chairs in the lobby, dirty every where.
