Mia's Boutique Hotel

Clean updated room. Very small bathroom but adequate. Great location to shopping and restaurants. Our room was Oceanside so just a few steps thru the walkway to the ocean. Recommend.

We’re not sure why this hotel is getting such high ratings, other than a low price and pets stay for free. We have to say, the bedroom furniture was nice with a pretty comfortable bed. The bed linens were at best average. The bathroom shower area was very small. The toilet area had a wall enclosing the space making it extremely confining. The floor trim around that wall was broken and dirty looking. There were also drain flies in the room. We were informed at check-in, no daily housekeeping, clean towels if needed. The a/c cooled the room, but it still felt humid. We asked the housekeepers (cleaning the empty rooms) to let us use the broom and dust pan so we could sweep. Each room should have a broom and dust pan, especially since it is a beach area without daily housekeeping. We tried our best to limit the sand in the room, but still felt like we had sand on the floors and in our bed. We moved down the road to a much nicer hotel for not much more money ($15), on the ocean side, and oceanfront. This hotel is very clean, bigger rooms, appears to be recently renovated, has a broom and dust pan, and is much nicer overall. We would rate this a 10 out of 10 (but it was rated less than Mia’s???). We travel a lot and feel we are a good judge of hotels. We rely on reading reviews before booking a hotel. We were disappointed with the room we received at Mia’s, especial after reading the great reviews. Definitely would rate Mia’s a 7 out of 10. We will not return to Mia’s.

Parking is tricky. You can hear everything from the Parking lot to the neighbors. Clean rooms and pretty much convenient to a lot of restaurants. Enjoyed proximity to the waterfront. Good enough for the price.

Loved being right on the beach and walkable to the pier.

This came up as a boutique hotel. We stayed in the courtyard section. It was in a nice, safe and convenient location for our needs. It was more like a motor lodge where you pull up to the door and go in. The rooms were decent. Everything worked and the beds were comfy. The air in the room was a little dank and the shower had very low pressure. It’s nice if you just need a place to sleep and don’t care about the views. The price was right and just a short walk to the beach. The area is lovely.

Loved the ease of walking out to the beach. The room was clean and it was a bonus to have a small kitchen. It was nice to be able to travel with my parents dogs with several places we could walk them. The person at the office was very pleasant and stayed on top of keeping the grounds nice.

We came down for our anniversary and wanted somewhere comfy and across from the beach. It was perfect! We had an amazing time! Very clean room and beautiful view!
