It's a charming, cozy older motel that has been recently renovated! It met our expectations!

It was clean and across the street was the beach.

Cost seems very high. We also went to ocean city and paid $50 less for a similar room. Higher price but u don’t get breakfast or your room cleaned daily or clean towels unless requested. The room was very dark. I don’t like keeping the curtains open so closing them made it very dark and limited lighting. The room was a ‘family room’ but once we brought in luggage very limited room. R ‘courtyard’ room faced th parking lot. The office was across the street. The rooms that faced the ocean-only 3rd floor could see ocean Bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. Had no room for my personal bathroom items. Had to put my stuff in the sink. And shower was even smaller. Had to step out to shave my legs. Room smelled like Lysol, I’m glad they use it but it was so over powering we had to air it out so my partner didn’t have a asthma attack Beware the door is extremely heavy. It almost knocked me over when my hands had luggage in it.

It was nice, cozy, and clean. Price was amazing for where it was.

They used way too much cleaner and too strong of a cleaning product. It was so bad we were getting a headache and had to leave the door open when we first got there for a few hrs just to air it out. So they need to dial down the cleaning strength for sure. We heard others talking about it but I’m not sure if they said anything.

Clean, organized, quaint yet still in the middle of the OBX activities…amazing access and view.
