I had to wait like over minutes for anyone to help me check in. My TV was not working and no one could fix it for me.

I reserved this room based on the attributes listed. Arrived with family after being evacuated from a local fire. First, was told I could not check in early for two reasons -- 1) room wasn't ready (fair enough), and 2) had to pay an early check in fee. Was ready to pay, but feeling a complete lack of empathy to local community struggling with tragedy. I was told I could wait in the cafe while the room was being prepared. Really? I was in tears and loaded up with a displaced family. Came back an hour later and was told they could not accommodate our cat and they could not refund our payment. A disgrace to the local community.

My wife and I stayed several days at the SCP Redmond Hotel while visiting family during the 2025 Christmas season. We found the hotel staff and accommodations beyond excellent in terms of location, attitudes, facility accommodations, and menu selections. We were quite satisfied to call it home during our stay and will definitely choose to live there during our future visits in Redmond.

Overall this hotel was a good experience. Cleanliness goes a long way for me and the place felt incredibly clean. The room decor is lovely- minimal but still achieves a warm atmosphere. Located in the center of Old town Redmond charm, but not far from conveniences like Fred Meyer and highway to Bend, ,etc. The hotel graciously offers ear plugs and a sound machine readily available at the bedside table, but unfortunately due to the old timey-ness you may hear squeaky floors, hallway conversations and neighbors coughing. For us it wasn’t disruptive to our rest though. In general it was a quiet environment and we loved the hotel.

We’ve been here 3x and each time has been amazing!!! We love the hospitality, the fireplace, the breakfast options… It’s beautiful, and still homey vibe. Also love their mission.
