"A hidden gem at Morro Bay."

Room was spacious and clean ...and with a lovely view of Morro Bay. Easy walking to bayfront shops as well as downtown theater and stores. Very good experience overall! We would come again.

"Bay View for the Win!"

Just had a great stay at the Bay View Inn! Picked this spot for a last minute work trip and was so pleased. Very friendly staff, a clean and comfy room, fast wifi and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Walking distance to all shops, restaurants, the famous Morro Rock and the beach!! I’ll be back for sure! Thanks for the great stay Bay View!

Location was excellent.

Parking is limited. Shower only in bathroom is small and water pressure is very weak. Not enough counter space for toiletries.

I've stayed in lots of the less expensive hotels in Morro Bay, and this one was by far the most comfortable. Beds were firm enough but not too firm. Everything was clean. Room was quiet. Ice machine and vending right down the hall. Staff was helpful and cheerful - gave us recommendations for a restaurant for oysters, and when we got to the restaurant (Harbor Hut) we mentioned that we were staying at the Bay View and that they had recommended us to them, and we got the best table there was with a view of the Rock! Only two blocks from the Harbor, and only two blocks the other way from the best coffee in town (Nautical Beans). Having coffee on the small patio overlooking the Harbor felt like being in a swanky waterfront hotel!

Wifi signal was weak. But that might be because our room was the corner farthest from the office.
