Solo travelling by myself and I was a little hesitant at reading the reviews but I kinda loved it. It’s not modern, it’s quirky and definitely a bit of a step back through time. You’ll find no beige suites here. What you will find are large, clean rooms, I had a private terrace and access to the pool which is perfect on a hot summers day. The most helpful and lovely members of staff and a hotel that never ceases to amaze in both its antiquities and the views. Yes not everything is perfect and yes the breakfast is a little lacking, but a real steal for the price and wonderful panoramic views.

Some outdated features. If I could change two things; the coffee machine at breakfast and getting the piano tuned!

Une vue magnifique, une situation appréciée (par des bons marcheurs) à distance suffisante des zones les plus animées tout en étant rapidement accessibles, un accueil irréprochable du personnel toujours parfaitement à l'écoute.. Une bonne note en sur les cocktails.

Le confort de la literie devrait être amélioré, et une gêne occasionnelle de mauvaises odeurs de refoulements ont terni la qualité de la chambre. Le petit déjeuner est juste correct, un plus pour les fruits frais, un bémol sur le pain (touriste français oblige !), du thé nature aurait été apprécié (infusion de plantes uniquement). Nous n'avons dîné qu'une fois sur place le premier soir,... ce n'est vraiment pas un atout de l'hôtel. Des éléments de décoration et de mobilier commun sont à rafraîchir pour rivaliser avec la magnifique façade
