"Great hosts, very good food, stunning view."

Warm welcome from Christina and Mabel. Exceptional breakfasts. Wished we had allowed more time to stay longer than 2 nights. Fabulous views of Lake Taupo. Great walk along the Kawakawa Bay Track. Memorable stay.

I loved everything about this cottage. I only wish that we had not been so busy, and got the chance to curl up with a book and enjoy it.

Minor problem - Tea and coffee was supplied, so I assumed milk was too. Unfortunately the nearest dairy is not just up the road.

WOW! - Just Wow Awesome and quiet setting, with fantastic hosts, great food, and well appointed amenities Mabel - the chocolate labrador is a real treat This is the place to book. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!!!

"Perfect little spot for a getaway"

Location was beautiful, very comfy and cosy cottage. In a relatively remote area but close enough to Taupo town and Kinloch lake

"Our hosts made us feel very welcome in their lovely house."

Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cooked eggs and bacon, set in the conservatory with fabulous views of Lake Taupo.
