Lokalizacja bezpieczna - ale na tyle daleko od starówki i innych atrakcji, że trzeba szukać wsparcia komunikacyjnego (wybraliśmy bilet komunikacji miejskiej w cenie 8€ za 3 dni). Przystanki tuż-tuż, jak i food-hala, sieciowa pizzeria, indyjski kebs oraz duży sklep Maxima. Parking hotelowy wygodny i free. Winda sprawna. Obsługa recepcyjna bez zarzutu. Śniadania z wyborem napojów (kawa świeżomielona, herbaty Liptona różne, soki z kartonów), wędlin, serów, muesli, świeżych owoców i warzyw, ciast (w tym jedno zawsze "domowe", np. z rabarbarem), pikantnych przekąsek i śledziem (co rzadko się nam o dziwo trafiało w łotewskich hotelach). Dobre wyciszenie obiektu.

Fronton hotelu mało zadbany, poszukujący fancy ujęć będą zawiedzeni. My początkowo myśleliśmy, że zaliczamy wtopę - ale finalnie nie zawiedliśmy się. Śniadania od 7:30 do 10:00 - ale trzeba deklarować wybór 45-minutowego przedziału czasowego.
