Erica Residences - Riverside

The night watchmen who stayed with us and tried their best to help us when we were locked out.

Our experience at Erica apartments was very poor. If started before we ever arrived, the property does not very clearly specificy it is a shared apartment. We found this out 48 hours before through a WhatsApp Message in which the hosts told us this. If it was super clear the host would not say: are you aware this is a shared space? 48 hours before. The second Issue was being told check in info would Follow when I requested, that reception is 24 hours and that the night watch men has instructions. We arrived at night, tired, no internet, or a working Kenyan phone line and we had not received check in instructions and neither did the night watch men. We didn’t know the lockbox code to get our key. We didn’t even know which apartment or which floor we were on. No one was at the “(24 hour)” reception and no one was answering our calls when we finally found WiFi to be able to call on WhatsApp. Horrible Experience to as a women to be stuck outside, With no way to contact anyone at 11pm at night for a hour. On top of that the shower water pressure was almost none existent and the bidet water pressure was so powerful we were scared to get injured.

I appreciated the friendly and attentive customer service, especially the follow-ups on my check-in status, which made my stay truly pleasant.

I suggest that the in-house restaurant be made available to enhance the overall guest experience.

Located in a very calm street, no noice at all

Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die ich mit 2 anderen Personen geteilt habe. Das Schlafzimmer sowie Dusche und WC waren separat für mich. Es wurde regelmäßig saubergemacht und sogar das gebrauchte Geschirr abgewaschen. Lediglich die Stechmücken nervten am Abend.

Die Einrichtung ist etwas runtergelebt. Jedoch für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Nachtschränkchen auf beiden Seiten wären schön. Und ein Moskitonetz ohne Löcher.
