Cleanliness and location.

Seems the a/c wasn’t working correctly. Seems as it was preset to a temp even though we tried to lower the temp during the day it would not cool down. We only changed it from 75 to 73 but no change and got warmer. We were gone during the day most of the time and it was cooler while we were there so wasn’t a major problem. We opened windows when we returned and because the weather was much cooler outside it cooled down quickly. Our refrigerator and freezer was not working properly, but when we called the office they did swap out with a different refrigerator the next evening and let us put our food in the fridge a couple of doors down in an unrented unit until the new refrigerator got there. However, when they dropped the new refrigerator off they had the fridge set to the coldest setting and didn’t let us know therefore a lot of our food froze through the night. Also had an issue with the hot water handle in the shower squirting all kinds of ways and leaking really bad, but again we were able to shower so it wasn’t a major problem. It was not fixed while we were there. They stated that they needed a plumber to come in to turn off the water because of some issue before they could replace the handle. Sounds like a lot of complaints but all in all it is a nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay except for the issues listed.

The property was in an area at Maggie Valley but surrounded by trees and mountains. When we were there in January; no one else was renting then.
