The view is amazing, i was placed in a room with a full view of the lake/sea. it was quiet and undisturbed. i think i got in at a good time between 2 different tour groups so pretty much had the entire place to myself. The staff was very accommodating to my breakfast needs at 5am for a trekking trip. it was a spread to say the least with an array of breads, pancakes and fruits all packed and ready to go.

the cleanliness in the room could be better, but it was still at an acceptable level.

I would recommend garden furniture - table and chairs - in the small gardens in the back of the bay view rooms. Would be nice to have a space to lounge back there and enjoy

A nice hotel in a quiet part of Bali; very different from Ubud and the beaches in the south. The hotel has an absolutely magnificent swimming pool; large, with great views of the sea and mountains. We went on a lovely snorkeling trip. The hotel room, bed and outdoor shower were comfortable. We saw many monkeys close to the hotel.

The restaurants was okay, but nothing special. The nearby town has some very good and extremely cheap restaurants. Dapoer Chandra is close to the resort and serves excellent Indonesia food!

Les 10 % de taxe pour le gouvernement s est normal mais les 11% pour le personnel d offices . Cela fait quand même à la sortie 21%.

Überragend freundlicher Service! Ausgezeichnete Ausflüge (Safari im Nationalpark im Auto des Hotel- Drivers mit zusätzlichem Guide + Schnorcheltour zur Insel mit zwei fantastischen Stopps an der „Wall“ und „Coral Garden“, kurzer Hinweg zwischen 30-45 Minuten jeweils). Tolle Menschen vor Ort und als Guides getroffen. Zahlreiche Vögel und auch Affen auf dem Grundstück! Auch exzellentes Essen a la carte! Am Abschiedsabend gab uns der Hotelmanager beim Abendessen noch einen großartigen Tipp zur individuellen Vogelbeobachtung! Wir sind Naturliebhaber und kehren mit großartigen Erinnerungen und spektakulären Fotos nicht nur vom Balistar heim. Danke! Es war perfekt bei euch!

RECEPTION TEAM.and the BOAT DRIVER/TOURIST GUIDE. Pak Juli was amazing. An expert telling ypu all you need to know about balinese history, mythology and belifs. Great place to stay for at least 5 days....

Genuinely one of the best places I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Loved the tranquillity of this resort and the amazing top floor Bayview room. The location will live long in my memory for sure. Great staff, amazing infinity pool and stunning views of the West Bali and Java volcanoes. This is a relaxing location as there is nothing really walkable in the surroundings. We took a great snorkelling trip to Menjangqn island and the beautiful coral reefs. Food was good and inexpensive but breakfast lacked imagination. Otherwise the resort was spotless and teeming with wildlife.

De mooie kamer, villa met buitendouche, het infinity zwembad, restaurant en eten, waren ook goed. Prachtig mooi uitzicht! Het resort ligt afgelegen, dus verder in de buurt is er wei ig. Voor ons niet erg, wij kwamen voornamelijk om te duiken. Het duiken was werkelijk fenomenaal mooi!! We hebben zelfs 2 dagen kunnen bijboeken om extra te kunnen duiken. Extradivers, bedankt!!!

De Kura Kura kamers moet je niet boeken. Is net of je een gevangenis ingaat. Het ziet er ook aan de buitenkant niet uit! Binnen best mooi, maar geen uitzicht. er kan niets open en erg klein. Niet boeken! Ook geen terrasje. Kan alleen maar binnen zitten en de ramen kunnen niet open!! Gelukkig konden we upgraden, anders hadden we niet langer gebleven
