Bellevue is wonderful hotel run by lovely people. It boasts a superb location with sumptuous views of Olu Deniz, from a slightly elevated position on its own on the right of the valley as you travel down from Hisaronu/Fethiye. It has a fabulous, clean, deep, decent-sized swimming pool. Bedrooms are good-sized (my son and I shared, he had the double and I slept on the sofa bed, which was perfectly comfortable). Most importantly, the bedroom had aircon - we travelled in early September and it was 35C peak every day. We had a good-sized bathroom, and a sea view, with two balconies from which to enjoy it. Breakfast was provided and it is traditional Turkish, buffet food, plenty of fresh fruit, bread, olives, boiled eggs, coffee etc. Don't expect English food - you are in Turkey! The bar is open 24 hours a day which is more than enough even for a beer fanatic like me. We kept the utterly charming bar staff busy restocking the Efes fridge shelf. I cannot overstate how lovely the staff here are. They aren't related to each other but there is a family ethos. I didn't just enjoy great service, but also interesting, varied conversation and loads of laughs. I was genuinely sad saying goodbye to them all when we had to leave. The walk into town and back is a challenge - it's uphill on the way back and it's hot in Olu Deniz! There are no pavements so you need to keep your wits about you, and be reasonably fit - but if you aren't, you should still stay here. Taxis are cheap or you can get the regular "dolmus" (minibus/taxi).. My son and I walked every evening and some daytimes into town and coped fine, and I'm a portly 50yo, so y'know. It's doable. We had a hire car and used it to explore the area. We swam a lot, ate some fantastic food and went paragliding (one of the best experiences of my life). But the hotel is what made this the best holiday I've ever had. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Our stay at belle vue left us traumatised and humiliated. The owner is a charlatan, our short stay here ruined our trip. We initially booked a twin room which stated in the description there was a private pool. This is highly misleading as there are no private pools, only a single communal pool in the centre of the hotel. There was no Wi-Fi for the majority of our stay. We had only booked for one night as we had planned on booking flights to Istanbul once in Turkey. No Wi-Fi access meant we unable to book our flights and had to stay extend our stay in Olu deniz. When we reported this to management (hamza) we were fobbed off with blaming being placed on the service provider with reply you’re checking out anyway so what does it matter. We explained we would stay another day as we had to extend our stay. They promised they would sort out the Wi-Fi(knowing fully well that they wouldn’t and that this was an ongoing issue). Still we had no Wi-Fi for the second day on the trot there was patchy Wi-Fi on the terrace but none in the room. There are limited English speakers, we had to wait around and use Google translate to explain we needed to see We asked to see the owner the following morning and complained as to the complete lack of Wi-Fi in the room which had meant our whole trip iteration had changed as the flights were now sold out. After deliberation, He agreed to give us a free nights stay and offered us a router in the room to sort out the Wi-Fi issue. We were happy wit this agreement as we were becoming fed up with the lack of care abd concern for our trip and stay. We paid our bill and stayed on til the next day. It’s not until the following morning at checkout that the owner changed his tune. Hebecame aggressive and threatened us, as he kept demanding an email he removed our suitcases from the taxi and threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay or state he He literally held us hostage as the taxi driver left. Disgusting humiliating behaviour

The staff were excellent and friendly. Amazing view over Oludeniz ocean. Good pool. Early check accommodated. Good aircon.

Wifi extremely spotty and slow around pool and even the bedroom. Our room was aged decor. No kettle in room, condiments or shampoo. Just body wash provided. The road to the beach is a death trap, not the hotels fault, but the towns fault no footpaths. I hope the hotel can improve a little as the family are lovely and helpful
