Emelisse Nature Resort

The location, close to the beautiful Emplisi Beach. The beds were really comfortable and the room was very clean. Lovely staff and lots of activities to do, we didn’t waste a minute, there were so many things to do! Excellent breakfast and really good restaurant.

Property is Lovely and the adults pool is a wonder. Another highlight is the private Rocky beach area, astonishing!

For the price paid, The service was not 5 star in the réception and on the ammenities we needed. We expected to be much more « spoiled » Breakfast is ok but not wow, not luxurious . The cosmetics in the shower are in small bottles not nice for the planet.

Just wow ! I can’t fault anything. We really enjoyed our stay. I’ve read some of the pretty rubbish reviews from some of the seemingly ‘entitled’ people who just like to be negative about something. I wonder if they got the wrong place? This is a classy establishment that is run by a family for families. It is friendly and welcoming on all levels. Staff-all seemed very happy and helpful and smiley. Room- we had a room outside of reception and we had no issues with noise. It was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable . We slept well every night. Food- choice at breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble . The food in the restaurant was also of very good quality ( and I am a fussy eater ). The location was simply stunning and the pools were all lovely. I had a massage in the spa and that was great too. The walk down the ‘secret path’ is a bit of a challenge in flip flops or heels but only takes 10 minutes and then you are straight into Fiscardo. Failing that, cabs are always at hand and it’s like a 3 minute drive for 5 euros. Easy to get back as well even in height of season. We hired a sailing boat for the day and loved it . The local beach has crystal clear water and it also has a bar that serves alcohol and food etc. Wasps were not the problem I thought they would be either ! This place will not disappoint anyone who isn’t looking for negatives.

Some seriously inaccurate reviews on this place . It really is a lovely hotel with great friendly staff . Nothing too much trouble . It is 10 minutes walk into the main town , however the path is rocky and steep, but you can walk down the road too. We didn’t due to the heat. The shuttle bus is reliable and on time . Could operate a little more often during the day but taxis are quick and cost only 5 euros to the town. Room was spotlessly clean and had a modern bed which was extremely comfortable . Good AC which is nice .We slept very well. Food was good , with plenty of choice at breakfast . Dinner /lunch menu in the main was very good . The location is stunning too! Pool and relaxing area immaculate. Location stunning We would return We would certainly return .

very subpar experience. this place very remote and you have to rely on their food. It was just horrible. no authentic Greek food as one would expect. Their Greek salad or Shrimp saganaki was so bad. the menu was packed with pasta and pizza. so crazy where am i? Italy? how can you screw up a Greek salad? the breakfast buffet was ok. The room was OK but TV wasnt working and they attempted twice to fix it. The pool is beautiful and great settings. lastly, extremely overpriced. My expectation was something like Hotel Splendido in Portofino but man, it was miles away from that. wouldnt go back or recommend it.

A wonderful place to visit

the property needs an upgrade for sure, inconvenient for families with children especially coming back in at night…the people and staff were wonderful!!!

We had a great time at Emelisse. Very clean and nice room, super friendly and helpful staff and captivating sea views on every corner - whether you are relaxing by the pool or enjoying breakfast on the terrace or just walking down the rock for a swim in a crystal clear waters. What made our stay most memorable though is people - we were treated with utmost care and generosity by the staff. Travelling with a 1 year old baby we had many fears of how to feed him and whether it will be comfortable for him - everything was amazing: all our special requests regarding food during breakfast (which was delicious) were gladly accommodated and the hotel overall turned out to be a perfect place for a vacation with a baby. Highly recommended.

The hotel sets high expectations, everything is really well thought at Emelisse. So if you are staying in other well-known 4-5 star hotels in Kefalonia afterwards, you might be disappointed :)
