Maldron Hotel Derry

The location

Great location, comfortable hotel.

On arrival we got free underground parking which is a big bonus. Then we were met with a lovely happy receptionist. She let us leave our bags and told us how to find the Derry girls mural. Also suggested somewhere nice to have lunch which was great! We walked the wall and returned to the hotel. On return we met a different receptionist. I explained we had left our bags, checked in earlier but never got a room key. Such a surprise!!!! The receptionist at the start who we now know is called Caoimhe had upgraded us to the Erin Suite as it was our third wedding anniversary. Also some chocolates in the room with a lovely note. We had such a brilliant time in this hotel and all the staff were amazing. Best time ever!

The location was excellent, the staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was accommodating.

The hotel bar could be cleaner, The staff in the bar get distracted and leave the bar unattended at times. The shower in the room needs maintenance attention. The mattress could be firmer.

Great location,friendly staff.good parking for motorcycles in basement

Nothing within the hotels power,so i don’t blame them,but some twat in a golf r with a popcorn map spent half the night driving past and creating a racket.Try and avoid rooms onto street when this lad about.
