Our room was advertised as accessible but had no grab bars near the toilet and no riser seat for the toilet. Also, the shower if fine for those not handicapped, but the one grab bar is 5 or 6 feet away from the shower head where it's most needed. Also the beds in this room are too tall for the handicapped by about 4 to 6 inches (in my opinion). Also the television wasn't working and the internet was very weak and unreliable. I would expect Expedia to improve your expectations of the motels you offer to us by having them be very clear as to why their room is accessible. You and I deserve specifics. We live in a work where handicapped people want to travel but deserve to know what they're getting for their dollar. Frankly, I expect better of Marriot and I expect to pay more, but right now I'm asking why I should pay more for rooms that are less accessible for people like my wife who suffered a stroke 4 years ago. Any cheap motel could at least honor their accessibly advertised room. Thank you!
