TOP martas Hotel Lutherstadt-Wittenberg

Excellent English speaking staff. Clean and spacious rooms with lift/elevator access. Breakfast is a full breakfast with many food to choose from. Got a free bicycle rental. Had a Bible at the bedside for your use. It is so good to be Martin Luther's hometown and have access to a Bible.

This hotel was excellent in every way--- friendly, helpful staff; good location for sites, restaurants, train; comfort; cleanliness; attractiveness; terrific extensive breakfast buffet; all amenities worked fine; easy check in and out. I'd definitely recommend it.

Wonderful hotel in all aspects, service, comforts, food and location to sights

Staff were very friendly, going out of their way to help. The room was comfortable and clean. Being able to walk to the old town was a bonus.

2 nights, great location in a small town. This is one, if not the top hotel in Wittenberg. Great staff, great room and wonderful breakfast in the morning.

This is a fine enough European hotel--don't expect it to be like a typical American hotel. You won't get (wasteful) tiny little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion and cute soaps: you'll get squeeze dispensers of what I call "human wash". No A/C either, nor even a fan. But in our family room, I had a huge work desk/area. Internet didn't work for last 24+ hours. But hotel is clean and otherwise nice. American tip: ask for a glass of ice cubes at the bar.

The hotel was fine, in general. The pillows were very thin. we asked for more pillows, and they were brought to us right away. The hotel description said that there was tea and coffee in the lobby. That was not true. The bar supposedly had tea and coffee to buy, but that is not usually the meaning of tea and coffee in the lobby, as a token of hospitality. In general, it was a hotel for older people (60+).
