There are so many cons that I do not remenber any pros.

First time in my long booking.com history the accommodation did not meet expectations. The rooms are located in a corridor on the upper floor of the host´s house. Together with kitchen and breakfast room. We were accommodated in so called "flat" while the other three were called "rooms". Flat means 18sqm of very obsolete space with hardly working equipment. In no case we can speak about apartment. Main cons : 1. Everything old. Equipment produces desparate noises when used. Usualy you put such pieces to garage sale for free 2. Kitchen equipment ridiculous and dirty. Box with coffee and (maybe) oil or vinegar included strange disgusting substances 3. Door to corridor is made of few milimetres of glass and cardboard so you hear breathing anybody behind and viceversa. In connection with next cons this made our stay real disaster... 4. The host speaks constantly. This could be just his problem if only his speeches were not a roaring exceeding 90 decibels (yes, I have noisemeter app). First, we considered some fight happened in neighborhood. Suprisingly, we found our host was "speaking" to some guests (who remained speachless). We better leaved for the city. The same continued till night and from 7AM. Horror. 5. The host, trying to be "friendly" and funny was a bit annoying. Thanks to "allround audibility" we recorded his jokes to other guests. Couple of the french tried to speak several languages but it did not made the host to speak other than italian, which they obviously did not understand. 6. Breakfast so so. Standard italian sweet pastry and coffee. Anything else absolutely missing (I mean the pictures on booking.com). So we used our own fruits and cheese. Finaly, I need to say that the authors of other evaluations maybe stayed in other rooms with other host. Otherwise, I cannot understand such difference between expectations (based on booking.com descriptions) and reality.

Our host Salvatore was incredibly kind and made us feel like part of his family. Very clean, cozy place with all amenities. The breakfast was very tasty. A great place that I would love to return to.

The host was really friendly and funny. The place is clean and the bed is comfortable. Nice breakfast. We enjoyed the place a lot.

Salvatore was such a genuine and kind host. Even though his English wasn't great he was still able to communicate with us and make us feel welcome. This was a perfect stop for us along our road trip through Sicily.
