Hotel Fortuna

Posizione ottima in pieno centro. Convenzione (spesa dimezzata) con parcheggio collegato da una serie di scale mobili (tipiche di Perugia). Ambiente curato ed accogliente, reception sempre presente e disponibile. Camera sufficientemente ampia, molto silenziosa.

La colazione a buffet complessivamente è positiva, migliorabile in quanto manca la parte calda, e la sala è di dimensioni un po’ ridotte con sovraffollamento nei momenti di punta.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Lovely staff, lovely rooms, lovely breakfast. Will come again.

There was nothing to dislike. It was close to the town, rooms were very peaceful and comfortable. And the staff were very pleasant and helpful. 10 out of 10. 😊

Lots of steep stairs (it is apparently difficult to keep the carpet clean due to the dirty streets of the city)

Beautiful historic hotel. Location is perfect, so close to the centre but tucked down a quiet road so peaceful. Staff were very friendly and kind. We had misplaced something on the bus and the lady on reception did her best to call around to help. Room was traditional, clean, spacious and had all you needed.

Too early in the year for air con but was hot the weekend we stayed. Had to open the window to sleep at night.

We enjoyed our two day stay very much. Location is excellent but a tip we took a big taxi and it couldn’t fit the narrow lanes to the door. It dropped us in the min square and we had a walk. On leaving the hotel front desk staff ordered a regular taxi that came to the door. Thank you. Yes the roads are very narrow! The building is very old and the lift doesn’t directly access all rooms so if you have mobility issues advise the hotel in advance. The room was great. Bed comfortable and wonderfully quiet. There were a few stairs but we were fine. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Normal for Italy. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff less so. It was good value but I might look elsewhere next time - as we get older! Last tip the gelateria Carloni 1989 - just a few steps away possibly the best ever.
