"Bad experiences from hotels.com"

The staff was good. The overall experience through hotels.com is horrible. This is the 3rd time I did not get the room I paid for. I was told it was sold out. I got a lesser room. Then in the room the sofa bed was broken and I had to be switched. I used my rewards points and did not get what was requested. I am seriously considering not using hotels.com anymore

"unlucky?"

I think I was just unlucky. The air conditioner in my room was not functioning well. I had to set it to 67 to get the room cool but it was very humid. When the unit would turn off, I could hearing water dripping in the return vent. This was late at night and I really didn't want to change rooms, so I did not ask. Also,there were no drinking glasses and the bed was not great, but acceptable. Otherwise, the room was fine.
