That the taxis were right outside so you could leave imediately

We arrived late which the hotel kept our reservation, i did notify them i was coming in late. No ever responded. But i guess someone got the message because they our room. 1st room we were sent to , i could see outside the main door had a crack and the screws came off. We were moved to another room. The a/c was not working , we got moved to another room it was filled with sigarette smoke. On a no smoking floor. Last room was a bit more liviable, but no apology , no sorry , nothing. When we asked why we werent moved to the last room from the 1st time , they said the person does not show checked out and still no apologies. And this at 3am in the morning. Staff had horrible attitude towards what we were going through. Made us feel like we were bithering them , all we wanted was a clean non smoking room.
