Akrotiri Beach Resort & Spa - Adult Friendly

We just had a perfect week at Akrotiri. Every day we looked forward to the views, breakfasts, pools , beaches (very unique private rocky beach and great public beach), many restaurants and markets in a walking distance.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Akrotiri. The hotel is a jewel on the Paleokasistri peninsula and sea; views are absolutely breathtaking. Pool and beach are very nice (would be great if by staying at the hotel, the beach chairs were included). We were admiring the photos taken of the hotel hanging in the lobby (probably circa 1960) and realized much of the hotel hasn't changed in 60 years . . . the hotel management should consider upgrading the furniture in the hotel lobby and very large lounging room consisting of pool table, TV, sofas and rifle over the fireplace. A lot of large empty spaces could be better utilized to serve families, couples and other travelers. Be sure to visit nearby La Grotta while staying at the Akrotiri. We would recommend staying here to our family & friends.

Sensational location with amazing views. Close to restaurants and short steps to the beach. Excellent pool area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would benefit from an interior update. Breakfast is just ok. Could be improved. With these changes, Akitori would be even better.

Nice area and view, hotel a bit run down. Some plumbing issues - drainage in shower very poor, shower head inadequate. Breakfast offerings OK but not up to the standard of other accommodation we utilised on other parts of the island.

The hotel is rather noisy from other hotels and resturants nearby at night and the air conditioning is very loud.So you have a choice of noise.

Rooms are a reasonable size. It appears all the superior rooms are twin rooms. View from the superior rooms are lovely. The food is not good. Breakfast has a good selection but the quality of the food is variable. We only ate dinner there once it was so poor. The good news is there is plenty of choice near by. Overall we were happy with the hotel despite the issue with food quality.

No central air in the lobby or other common areas such as the dining room. Only in your room. Take the private boat ride to paradise beach they drop u off and pick up whenever. Angela at the beach works for michele boat tours the best $$ spent! 20-25 Euro per person depending if you get the half hour tour. Bar by the pool is nice w good food and drink ...
