Couples Sans Souci All Inclusive

Clean, beautiful property.

Other than the room and the room attendent. Everything was simply substandard. I'm not sure how they get high reviews, this is what pulled me in. I would never go back again. From the lack of communication once booked to a 2 hour van ride to the resort to being out of food and improper descriptions of food to excursions that were poor or lacking, even the checkout was marred with errors in billing at the last minute, causing us to miss our van to the airport.

Loved everything except the mineral pool station where we were welcomed to have smoothies - not adequate variety of offered assortment of fruits nor veggies to make smoothies plus smoothies attendant not at station most of the time …instead in athletic shelter talking to fellow staff and returning to smoothie station around 4 pm to make smoothies for those staff members rather than be available on call for guests once lunch time was over. Poor performance, as well as spa personnel entering beach area seeking guests who canceled a spa appt. due to severe sun burn having to see nurse on premises and asking sought out guest why they did not show up when already personally met w/spa receptionist to cancel appt. Staff behavior such as that is disappointing and a turn off to want to return to spa in the future. The person that was exceptional and outstanding were: a Mr Luzcon Henry who impressively transferred a lawn dinner due to sudden torrential rain from lawn to Palazzina Rest. with great aplomb…gracious to all guests…making transfer with ease and care. Many besides my husband and I remarked how outstanding his performance was as guests felt looked after properly. Would make an outstanding General Manager a few of us believe and believe his Assistant who is as caring about guests, as he, is the woman who assists w/photography in the cafe…spot on …think her name is Chantel ….bright, polite, knowledgeable, helpful and refused to accept a tip from us after assisting us.

A night dance club would be better

It wasn't a problem for us, but guest need to know this resort involves a lot of stairs!

If you’re looking for a resort with a beautiful botanical garden setting, great food, pool and beach area look no further. The secluded au naturel beach and pool nestled away on the property is the cherry on top that you didn’t know you needed in life. Book the trip, thank me later.

Nice spread of activities / bars / restaurants. The various zones and cliff side location made the resort feel boutique and relaxed, as well as not too busy.

Swimming area off the beach was very shallow

The resort is a tropical paradise unto itself, with lush flora and fauna. Water sports abound. Food was delicious, without exception. Service was superb. Highly recommended!

This was our first all inclusive experience and it left a little to be desired for us. We aren't huge drinkers so we were after quality and not quantity for the drinks but that seemed like the opposite most of the time at the resort, at best the drinks lacked consistency. We enjoyed our room and it's mini bar more than the other bars. The veggie bar was awesome and the grotto area was our favorite place to hang out. The New Years Eve party was fun and the room service was great.

The property and the beach are beautiful. The rooms are newly renovated and the interior is simple but nice.

The food options are subpar and the service is terrible with only a few exceptions (the water sport guys at the beach are friendly and helpful).

Always a great stay and the upgrades added made it even better.
