The location is great, the hotel is also connected to the train station through the elevator so it was easy to avoid the rainy weather. The staff was nice and the beds comfortable.

The WiFi did not work properly on my laptop, it was impossible to connect to it. My room (201) is intended for wheelchair users, amazing that the hotel offers this, however since I'm not a wheelchair user the layout of the room was strange, the bathroom had a sink with a sensor which did not allow for hot water... There was a locked door right opposite the bed, which presumably leads to the neighbouring hotel room, it was quite strange. No fridge in the room was a huge letdown.

I stayed at Ibis Innsbruck for two nights with my family. The hotel’s biggest advantage is its excellent location, right next to the train station and within easy walking distance of Innsbruck’s main attractions. Unfortunately, the service experience was disappointing. Of the 15+ Accor hotels I have stayed at, including three during the past two weeks, this property had the least well-trained staff. On arrival, there was confusion with our room keys, requiring three separate trips to reception before the issue was resolved. There was also inconsistent information regarding complimentary beverages. Initially, I was told tea was complimentary but coffee was not. Later, after acknowledging the inconvenience caused by the key issue, staff said coffee would be provided. Subsequently, this was changed again, and we were told only one complimentary coffee would be available during our two-night stay for a family of four. What was most frustrating was the lack of consistency in communication and service. As an Accor Gold member, I expected a smoother experience and better recognition of loyalty. While the location is excellent, the service standards at this hotel fell well below what I have come to expect from the Accor brand.

This is not a luxury hotel. It is, however, a comfortable, clean place to stay very conveniently located. I arrived by train intent on doing the cable car and staying only one night and leaving by train in the morning. Unfortunately it was cloudy so didn't do it. The hotel location is perfect. It is right across the street from the train station. Yes, it is an odd building built above the street. Yes, there are stairs BUT there is also a clearly marked elevator that goes straight to the lobby. Staff was friendly and efficient. They appear to have luggage storage but did not use the service. This is a European hotel so rooms are small by US standards but are comfortable. No coffee maker etc but does have a hair dryer. AC worked fine. Across the street is a small bakery/restaurant/store with a sign that says "Thai takeout." The market is much much bigger on the inside (think tardis) and has everything you could possibly need. It's about a 10 minute walk to old town. Also, just like in Vienna, stores close at 6pm.

Das Zimmer war wirklich geräumig, das Bad zweckmäßig, die Ausstattung des Bades nicht berauschend, aber in Ordnung (der Fön gab besorgniserregende Geräusche von sich). Das Personal war freundlich. Das Frühstück war wirklich gut.
