Days Inn by Wyndham Winona

Worst place I’ve ever stayed. Entered my first room with a terrible damp smell. Looked into the AC unit to find an entire ecosystem alive and well. The homeless guy on the corner has a better room. The very nice staff changed my rooms quickly which was great. And to my surprise the second room smelled like the locker room of a Wisconsin dells with rotten food. I decided I’d accept my fate and sleep in it (big mistake). I had to keep my AC off to avoid the terrible smell from it. The random tweakers hanging out in the parking lot made sure to rev their engines really loud at 3 in the morning. The whole place reminds me of a sticky ipad kid. I would actually rather stay in a cardboard box. The breakfast was edible. Make sure to only book a room here if you want a respiratory infection.

Really nice area and very nice Days Inn room clean and cozy.

The breakfast was boring, the eggs tasteless. A significant number of the employees don't speak English well enough to carry on a conversation.

Nice and quiet. Little street noise. Beautiful area.

I thought for $144/night, it would be in better shape. First, the room was extremely small, including the bathroom. They're was no external area where two people could get ready at the same time. Second, the toilet wouldn't flush. It took 3, sometimes 4 times to flush thoroughly. Third, the shower curtain rod was installed improperly and wouldn't stay closed. This was easily a $90 room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The parking lot had potholes everywhere. Not a good thing when you have a car rental. Check In went ok. Found the room to be very outdated. Furniture was very worn. The TV worked and had plenty of channels to choose from. Plenty of towels and hot water. Bathroom supplies were adequate but could use another bar of soap. Found what looked like permanent feces stains on the inside of the toilet bowel. Very unpleasant! Final note: In all my years of staying at Wyndham properties I have never had a room without a microwave and or a coffee maker! A must in my opinion.

It was an old building. They tried to update it with a new bed and other things, but it was just not up to the standards. lots of missed details. The surface of the new chare was pulled off. The parking lot and grounds were unmaintained. The breakfast things provided were very poor and lacking. I paid about twice the price I would expect for a place like this.
