Aparthotel HG Jardin de Menorca

Just back from fabulous break at this resort. Rooms are exceptional…spacious and we had 3 facing the pool so that was a bonus. Staff are lovely and it’s a lovely 20 minutes walk from main resort, restaurant, beach. Fabulous place for families with small children . My grandson had a ball. We will be back .

Lo snack bar potrebbe avere più opzioni food

We came for a week in the middle of June and had a first floor apartment in block five. The transfers were great at about 35 minutes and check-in was easy look out for Elena on the front desk as she was very helpful. We went for the half board option and the breakfast was fine lots of fruit and toast and cereals freshly made omelettes beans, sausages, coffee juice et cetera. The three pools were fairly quiet. The larger pool is deep enough for a pleasant swim even though there were families there at the same time they were clustered around the smaller pools meaning that the larger pool was very tranquil. The supermarket nearby is fine although a little bit expensive and our only criticism would be that the bar prices at the hotel are not as you would expect to find them. A large beer is €4.50. The evening meals were the best of the food with all sorts of options and some really nice salads Russian, Greek amongst others. The rooms get a brief clean every day which was sufficient for us and your towels are replaced. On a couple of evenings, we took the free courtesy bus from the hotel on the 10 minute drive down into Son Bou, I probably wouldn’t bother if I were you it is more expensive and they are basically a few restaurants scattered around roundabout. If you want somewhere to drink, try the Hawaiian bar but ignore Alessandro‘s for the price and the quality of the people. Make sure that on the bus you leave plenty of time to chat with Sebas. He was delightfully funny and on one occasion we asked to go round the route again because he was hysterical with his tales of this and that and life in Minorca.

Lovely clean well kept complex. It’s was very quiet ( apart from the very friendly and cute cockerel but he didn’t wake us up). Studio room as described it was nice and bright, clean modern. Air con was good and quiet. Lovely 3 pools, one deep enough for adult swimming. Plenty of sunbeds, although there were some people leaving towels to reserve it didn’t cause us a problem. Out door snack bar open from 10am till 10:30 pm, only served pizza 3-5 pm. We were self catering but used the restaurant twice, good value buffet €22 each. Shuttle bus runs 10-13:45 and 16:00 - 19:45. It’s a 15/20 mins walk to the shops, bars and beach. Staff were friendly. Only dropped a star as piano bar was closed, it looked nice and had a nice outdoor seating area. And we couldn’t get a late check out, but we stayed round the pool and you can shower in the fitness area. I would recommend the accommodation.

Everything and everyone at Hotel Jardin De Menorca were perfect as usual thanks for another fantastic holiday.

Nulla da dire. L’unica cosa che nel nostro alloggio non funzionava molto bene l’aria condizionata (la notte faceva caldo) e nemmeno lo scarico del wc era cosi efficiente…Ma non abbiamo detto nulla visto che ci stavamo pochissimo tempo in camera

A wonderful and lovely hotel. Beautiful large modern room. Very peaceful atmosphere considering it was British half term. Great pool area. Plenty of comfortable sun loungers and you can hire pool towels too. Delicious breakfast, plenty to choose from, highly recommend and great value. The mini bus to and from Sou Bon is a great extra. It’s a great little village with a few shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for a lively holiday… this area isn’t for you!! Bus to Mahon just 2.65€ each way. Takes 35 minutes. I recommend you catch it from the hotel bus stop not down at the beach. Mini Market on site was fantastic and great value and fully stocked with everything you could need. Cheaper than the mini market in the village. The only down side for us was the air conditioning. We complained on the first day and they quickly sent maintenance out, but, sadly we couldn’t feel any difference. We found the room very warm. It was 29*+ daily and we struggled with the heat in the room. Thankfully the balcony was in the shade from early afternoon. Some staff were really lovely and went that extra to help and the new guy in the restaurant was so helpful and friendly at breakfast.
