Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Madison

The bed was terribly uncomfortable and the room had a funny smell. Not much for the breakfast, especially for a weekend.

Room was clean and spacious.

Check in was confusing. He didn't look for my booking or was confused about there being two Smith's booked. He charged me for my daughter's booking. Then when she went to pay for her booking he realized his mistake. And I had to give my key to her and he then gave me the key for my booking. However when I looked it said we didn't show up and my booking was cancelled. We were there and paid for both days. Also beds were uncomfortable, too hard.

The room was nice. Bed was comfortable.

The location of the room. I did not request first floor accommodation when making reservation. Upon check-in, I asked for this and was told they could not give us a room on first floor. The hotel did not appear filled up, so I feel our request should have been honored. I will know next time to request room locale!!

Not enough towels and the property stunk like the family that owned the motel.

Room was clean. That's my main request.

Shower head was a bit low for us.

Horrible smell from smoking, combined with open windows letting all the humidity in. Barely slept. Breakfast was awful. Beds had zero support, so what sleep I had was interrupted by other person tossing and turning; I'm a heavy sleeper but it felt like I was on a ship in a storm. Front desk was friendly when checked in, but $35 pet fee not listed online. 😡

beds were very uncomfortable the service was ok but no one at the front desk had to call to get help. It could use an upgrade
