the owner, seems like a real piece of work. the place used to have a vibe besides having very little going for it. Jose the manager was an absolute unit, kind guy and ran a tight ship. then he went on holidays and when he got back the owner screwed him over and kept on the girl Jose trained because she was cheaper. You can see from the restaurant out the front also owed by the owner how they clearly don't care about comfort or flavour. I've seen the owner be ridiculously rude to people, almost to the point of being funny.

Stayed fr two nights The only concern is the rooms are kinda dusty and need some cleaning, I would recommend the place as its budget friendly place

This hostel is good value for the price and a basic place to sleep, for those seeking and/or just starting out with work / holiday / study as it’s centrally located to the closest beach to the city, transport, amenities and the restaurant strip. This place has been trying to make improvements as of late in relation to Spring deep cleaning and solving issues. Reception is very welcoming and accommodating to requests and the Wi-Fi is great. The kitchen and foyer is small but suitable for whipping up a small basic meal, watch a movie or chat with newcomers from all over the globe

Everyone kept to themselves and did they own thing.
