Elba Castillo San Jorge & Antigua Suite Hotel

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were of a good size. Their breakfast is fantastic with a wide variety of food to choose from. We are really enjoyed the our vacation in Suite Hotel. We will definitely go back someday!

Large apartment with everything needed. The bed was the most comfy I have slept on while I have been travelling over the past 25years!! No air conditioning, which was fine for April but probably not for August.

Great value hotel overlooking the sea, very close to restaurants, bars and other facilities. Friendly staff, very good for children.

Just returned from a 10day stay...Have to say it is a great 3star hotel and great value for money.We did b and b...After reading other reviews before going we didn't know what to expect but we really enjoyed our holiday...After all a holiday is what you make of it yourself so don't sit around waiting to moan about stuff when you should be out enjoying yourself..

Stayed for 10 days. Only issues were minor, no wifi in the room and the daily cleaning of the room was not great, and had to buy washing liquid, brush and tea towel. Location was great lots of restaurants close by. Recommend Fado Rock for a great meal.

My experience isn't great. I cannot fault the arrival staff but the location of my room, the fact that the reception in my part of the suites was not manned, my room was above a pub facing the road, no nice view. When I arrived and walked into my room I was very disappointed, it felt dark and very run down. The sofa was a disgrace and it smelled of stale cigarettes. I did not feel safe and I decided to pack my bag and not stay in the hotel at all. I did not cancel my room as I had to try to organise to stay somewhere else and didnt want to be without any accommodation. Therefore I cannot really comment on the facilities or the resort as I did not stay overnight. I checked the room everyday but I felt too vulnerable to stay overnight alone. The rooms are in serious need of a makeover and more thought when lone travellers book a room. The reception staff on check out (a day early) did not ask why I was checking out earlier, which is a shame.

Just returned from a 2 week stay, we were given a room in the San Jorge Building room 1105 self catering, it was a large apartment on the corner with a rap around balcony with a partial sea view and that was the best of it, the room was dirty, not even a bath mat in the bathroom, it was under equipped for self catering and very cold. the sun only hit part of the balcony to the front and nothing to the side. Managed to get a room change after 5 days. The 2nd room was in the Antigua building 2205, the apartment was smaller with a street view but it was clean, warmer it was like you were in a completely different hotel. It seems the buildings have completely different standards with the San Jorge being very low. Dont think I will be going back

The hotel was O.K for what we paid.Only a few things to put us off. The Pool was very very cold.The shower head was to small so had to stand to close the wall the water was hot then cold then hot then cold.The black out blinds did not cover all the window letting in sun in early morning. The room was of good standard and had all would need. I would say on your first day go to a big supermarket as the shops around have higher price 20%. The Hotel was close to the beach 10mniutes walk.Overall We would go back bul not in the summer months because there was no AC.The cost of our stay was the biggest plus
