Alberi del Paradiso

Just returned from staying at this beautiful hotel. Loved the surroundings, comfortable bed and it's very clean. The jasmine covered walkway gives such sweet fragrance. I particularly value the helpful detailed advice given by the staff at the reception when I enquired about public transport. The bus stop is almost just outside the hotel front gate. It's Linea C and follows a circular route, so just one bus stop and not two (one on each side of the road). You just get on the bus and pay the bus driver, only 1 euro 20 cents per trip. No need to validate the bus ticket. The name of the bus stop at the hotel is ITC (name of the school opposite the hotel). The "terminals" are Capolinea in Cefalù Cefalù, and Hotel Kalura. So to go the Cefalù bus terminal, you get on the bus, don't get off at the Kalura terminal when everyone else does, and stay on the bus to the next stop which is the bus terminal in town. So returning to the hotel from town, you simply get off at the ITC stop which is about a 10 to 15 minutes bus ride. The Capolinea bus terminal is convenient for the tourists information centre and also the duomo. From my experience, bus was very empty with only a few passengers, a few minutes late and longer during early evening with heavier traffic. My family recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Cefalu. The staff is very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They serve a beautiful breakfast and have lovely dining room for dinner. If you have a chance to visit Cefalu you won’t go wrong staying at this hotel.

I am not sure how this is rated 4 star. The staff is well trained and the lobby is pretty but I found the room lacking. There’s no lotion or conditioner or robe and slippers that I have come to expect from a 4 star hotel. The decor is very basic and the mattress was not high quality. I would give it a 3 star

Very outdated

My wife and I chose this hotel in Cefalu and were not disappointed. It proved to be a luxurious oasis from the frenetic environment of Cefalù , giving us the opportunity to experience all that the wonderful Sicilian town had to offer and offering a peaceful and restful respite after Day of sightseeing, swimming, and dining in the old town below. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Overall I had a nice stay at the Alberi Del Paradiso. Rosario, Chiara and everyone on the team at the front desk were very welcoming and kind. I especially want to thank Vincent and everyone at the hotel restaurant for such a memorable experience. The food was amazing, but the level of consideration they took with me - and my dietary issues - was outstanding. It means so much to me, and I know it would to other guests as well. The rooms themselves were clean, although a bit worn. I hoped for a bit more. The pool itself was very nice and relaxing, my only thought there would be to have a team member out there as well (in addition to the bar) for towels, general assistance, etc. As it is, you get one pool/beach towel in your room and you always have to ask the front desk for another. There's no water in the room either. The walk down into town takes at least 15 minutes or so, and the walk back up can be a bit much. The hotel does partner with another hotel for use of the private beach and it's fine. Not memorable, but at least it's mostly sandy. One day it was raining on and off and I asked the front desk for "indoor" recommendations other than the on-site spa (didn't have a chance to use), and they really didn't have any. Might be nice to have a few options - maybe a recommendation for a wine tasting, cooking class - something - since there otherwise isn't much to do on a rainy day. I did want to mention as well that when I asked about the cost of a transfer to Palermo I was told it was 170 euros. I happened to look at the bulletin board in the lobby, and there was a tour company I found listing its tours. I reached out to see if they booked transfers as well - and they did - for 130 euros. I mentioned it to the front desk so they could let other guests know. Of course, there is always the train option but if you have a lot of luggage, you would likely need to take a taxi to the station first. In any event, it was a lovely hotel overall with a kind team.

Beautiful property. I found the bed too hard for my liking and the sheets felt rough.

The staff were fantastic and there was a great breakfast. Room was nice but not great. It is located up a steep hill from Cefalu which made it inconvenient and tough to get a taxi back to the property. They have a sister hotel Le Collete which looks much better.

A great hotel with a lovely swimming pool, delicious food in the hotel restaurant, and very friendly and helpful staff. We are already planning our return trip.

The hotel is very pretty, well appointed and is very clean! The hotel staff is amazing! Rosanna, in particular, helped me when I was having trouble with a rental car confirmation. She assisted me with a few other requests, and is fabulous at her position. Irene was kind and lovely, as well as everyone else that we engaged. Fabrizio at the pool bar makes a very delicious St Germain Spritz! Breakfast on the terrace is lovely, as well as the view from the pool! Thank you!☺️
