L’accueil , l’amabilité et la disponibilité d’Antonio. Le calme et le cadre exceptionnel. Magnifique quinta perchée entre deux Colines dans l’arrière pays de Faro . Une très belle decouverte

Zalig rustig verblijf, lekker ontbijt. Wel wat afgelegen, maar dat zorgt dan ook voor de rust. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren

El entorno, la finca tan bonita y cuidada, el acompañamiento de Antonio, tan cercano y servicial siempre. El apartamento y su limpieza. La tranquilidad. La ubicación. La piscina. Los atardeceres. Todo.

I will be brutally honest with this review because every review I read made out that it was a perfect place to stay. Firstly it is incredibly difficult to find even using Garmin, Google Maps and a nonexistent post code. I can only imagine other guests arrive here in their beautiful air conditioned 4x4s. The road here is horrendous and totally unsuitable for a heavy and very expensive motorcycle. The directions are abysmal and totally ambiguous; however the proprietor could see no problem (it's ok for him as he lives here) I asked if I could stay just one night and cancel as I feel I have been misled - but this was declined! There is no bar here - no possibly for an evening meal and no cold drinks, and it's 40C outside ! Additionally there is nowhere to walk to for a meal, beer or coffee - everything is drive drive drive !! TV didn't work for my first night but now it has been fixed ; and the aircon sounds like a faulty coffee grinder ! On the plus side it's quiet - very quiet. The pool is ok for a dip, and breakfast was good with beautiful fresh orange juice

El camino

Wir waren sofort verliebt in diese Unterkunft. Ein Ort der Ruhe, um die Seele mal richtig baumeln lassen zu können. Die Anlage sowie der Garten und Poolbereich sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Gastgeber Antonio und Maria sind sehr herzlich. Das Frühstück war absolut ausreichend und Antonio hat auf Wunsch auch Omelett zubereitet :-). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Was man wissen muss: Mietwagen ist erforderlich, da sich die Unterkunft fernab vom Massentourismus befindet (was wir bewusst so gewählt haben). Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich in der Nähe, sowie Restaurants.

A simpatia dos donos, a qualidade dos quartos e da casa no geral e a tranquilidade.

A parte final do trajecto até à quinta, com parte da estrada não-alcatroada, prejudica ligeiramente a experiência.
