Le Meridien Ile Maurice

Very comfortable and luxurious resort to stay when you come in Mauritius. Food was absolutely delicious from all the restaurants, different pools available and the fitness center up to standard!

We booked one reservation covering two people in two rooms. At check-in, staff offered an upgrade to only one of us, with no warning beforehand. The upgrade was to Nirvana, the adults-only area, which meant the other person would have been excluded and we’d have spent our holiday apart. The upgrade itself was a nice gesture. The problem was applying it to only one person on a joint booking. We had to push back at check-in, and staff were initially reluctant before agreeing to upgrade both of us. Without that, we’d have been split up for the whole stay. If you offer an upgrade on a single booking with multiple guests, it needs to apply to everyone on that booking, not just one person. Splitting up a couple or a group who booked together would be a mistake.

Wir waren absolut begeistert! Wir waren zuerst im Süden von Mauritius und es war sehr windig, daher haben wir spontan das Le Meredien gebucht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert von der Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, dem sensationellen Ausblick und den professionellen und entspannten Ablauf beim Check in. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im Nirvana Bereich (adults only) und das war erstklassig. Beim Frühstück gab es buffet und a la carte Gerichte. Die Restaurants im Ressort sind Spitze. Ganz besonders gefallen hat uns die Pool Bar im Nirvana Bereich (Poolservice). Die Mitarbeiter machen einen Tag dort einfach perfekt (schneller, freundlicher Service, immer mal wieder durchgegangen mit Obstspiessen, kleinen Erfrischungscocktails,…). Auch das Zimmerservice war super. Wir bekamen ohne Bitte sogar am Abend vor unserer Abreise eine Rosenblütendeko am Bett. Was für uns sehr wichtig war, war auch, dass es sehr windarm war und das Meer sehr klar war. Alles in allem - einfach eines der schönsten Hotels die ich bis jetzt auf Mauritius sehen durfte! 5⭐️ absolut verdient

Отдыхали в отеле в июне. В целом отдых очень понравился, поставил бы отелю 8/10. В первую очередь хочется отметить сервис. Огромное спасибо русскоговорящему менеджеру Азизе. Она помогла с быстрым заселением и всегда была на связи в WhatsApp отвечая на любые вопросы. Номер большой, чистый, с балконом. Убираются каждый день, причем можно выбрать удобное время уборки, а не подстраиваться под график отеля. Вечером дополнительно приносят свежие полотенца Очень понравились ужины. Каждый день было что-то новое. Из ресторанов на территории больше всего запомнился азиатский Отдельный плюс отеля в том, что все водные активности бесплатны. Катамараны, сапборды, вейкборд, водные лыжи, снорклинг, все это включено. Также в отеле есть новый и чистый тренажерный зал.

На мой взгляд завтраки были довольно однообразными. Еще не совсем понял ситуацию с масками для снорклинга на лодочной станции. Для самостоятельного плавания у пляжа маску не выдают, ее можно получить только если едешь на лодке с отелем. Также не самый удобный вход в море. Но для нас это не стало проблемой, так как рядом с полотенцами можно бесплатно взять коралки;)

We experienced a minor issue on our first evening regarding dietary requirements, but as soon as the team became aware, they went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional stay.
