The staff was very friendly and professional ,my room was very nice and cozy ,it had beach view and it was near to a lot of restaurants , I highly recommend this hotel .

The bed was comfortable

It was old and needed some TLC. If this was 4 stars then I’ve been staying in 8 star hotels previously. The lift was broken, meaning we had to use the staff lift which I’m sure would not pass safety regulations, the bathroom was clean but again old and needs updating. The pool was murky and opaque, you could not see the bottom, the filter was only turned on when we commented on the state of the pool. To reiterate this is NOT a 4 star hotel. Next to a night club which was noisy until well into the early hours. The stairway are open leaving a very echoing area which amplified any sound, eg doors banging

The day staff helped me get a refund and were very nice about trying to rectify my bad experience the night before. Being next to the corniche is nice but only by day.

I arrived at midnight to staff that didn't seem to care. They told me that the pool wasn't functional, that the spa was unavailable, and that breakfast wasn't offered (all 3 are mentioned on the booking). One of the managers was very rude when I asked these questions and try to wave me off. Only one of the staff was kind (Abdulaziz I think was his name). The room was uncomfortable and the furniture bulky. The soap in the bathroom was in soap dispensers attached to the wall like a bathroom stall. There was music from a club playing all night and I couldn't sleep, and at 5 AM there was what sounded like a big fight right outside the hotel. The view from the room is blocked by a lot of wires and signs. I was luckily given a refund by a more sympathetic staff the next day
