daar ons appartement op het niet verwarmde zwembad uitgaf, en er dus niet veel volk zat was het echt rustig op ons terras. Wel iets meer wind, maar dat deerde ons niet. Er was voldoende variatie van eten bij ontbijt een avondmaal.

Wat ons het meest tegenviel was het lawaai in het restaurant. Zowel 'smorgens als 'savonds. Het personeel houdt greetig de tafels proper, maar dat brengt natuurlijk lawaai met zich mee. en als het wat drukker wordt is het een klankkast van jewelste. Niet aangenaam eten dan.

Une chambre vieillotte avec des meubles décrépits, une baignoire avec un rideau et une bonde toute rouillée, une fenêtre dans la chambre donnant sur le couloir (obligation de la laisser occultée pour ne pas être vus des autres clients passant dans le couloir), peu de choix dans les menus.... L'impression d'être dans un hôtel de zone...

I recently stayed at the Galeón Playa and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is one of its biggest strengths—just steps away from the beach and within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, and local attractions, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploring. The apartments were clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the balcony views, which added a nice touch to mornings and evenings. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the stay. The hotel facilities were great, particularly the pool areas, which were well-maintained and suitable for both adults and families. There was also a good range of entertainment and activities, ensuring there was always something to do without feeling overcrowded or noisy. Food options were decent, with a variety of choices that catered to different tastes. While not overly luxurious, everything was fresh and satisfying. Overall, the Galeón Playa offers excellent value for money. It’s an ideal choice for families, couples, or anyone looking for a laid-back holiday in a great location. I would happily return and recommend it to others looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Lanzarote.
