LBFairfield by Marriott is possibly the old international hotel chain in Bintulu. Free parking at front of hotel. Easy check in. All day dining restaurant with beer happy hours every day. Clean and functional rooms. Good wifi. Good gym on ground floor.
BNMYWe stayed here for a single night, arriving at the hotel in the early evening. And we were glad that we did. Our room was modern and minimalistic in design, but decently furnished and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed and wanted for our room. The connectivity and lighting in the room was superb. The bathroom also had a rainfall shower, which we very much liked. The hotel is located right next to a mall(sparsely occupied), a grocery store, and a few restaurants. We took advantage of the close proximity and had dinner at one of those restaurants. The restaurant had a solidly good breakfast buffet that morning, with very decent choices hot and cold, savory and sweet. We also had the late checkout option which allowed us to relax in our room until our evening flight from Bintulu. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay, and wished we could’ve stayed longer. But we will choose this hotel again the next time we are in Bintulu.
