Everything was so clean

Súper clean hotel

Very nice place. Clean, good location, nice parking lot. Breakfast was decent. The only problem is the walls are super thin, we could hear people talking in the room next to ours until 2AM. Which is a pretty big design flaw for such a nice place.

The staff at the front desk (Elizabeth) was amazing and very helpful

Shuttle never arrived then I was taken to the wrong hotel . Apparently there are 2 hotels with the same name in each side of DFW airport. So I lost an entire night trying to find the place . Was charged for 2 different taxis . Then when I arrived to the hotel, I was faced with a lot of other issues with checking in due to their system being down.

My family really enjoyed staying here for the weekend. Location was great, close to all the attractions we had planned. Rooms were clean and spacious. The included breakfast was a huge plus also! Thank you.

I am not sure how they got the ratings they did. My experience was way different. Let’s start at greeting. It was ok, person was new and in training and alerted to me as such. Let’s get the positives - recognized me for my status at check in. Offered reward. Double checked with me if I was fine with a room on the 4th instead of top floor of 5th. I was fine with it. I also declined to have housekeeping since I was only there 3 nights. That was verbally confirmed and I watched her note. After checking in I dropped my luggage and immediately left for a dinner. Upon returning at 10:00 pm I noted the room was a little cool (it was running between 90s and low 100s this week in Dallas). It was at this moment that I noticed the AC unit was literally right next to the bed and would be blowing cold air on the bed. Given the heat that thing was gonna run on and off all night. This is obviously not good - see picture. I went down to the front desk and asked if I could possibly get a different room. Since I had just stayed in one of these in San Diego last week their rooms were designed with the AC and closet flip flopped so the AC is not blowing directly on the person in bed but into the open space of the room. He said they were full. I looked out at a parking lot that was about 1/3 full and looked back at him. He said he would leave a note for a manager and they would deal with it in the morning. My stay is done and I am back in So Cal and still yet to hear from anyone. So I actually laid a shirt on a rack just above the unit so it would at least block the direct shot of air on me in bed. Next day I left for the office and came back. Room had been completely cleaned - which I asked not to do. All of my toiletries - including retainer - had been touched/moved. I didn’t even bother to say anything since they hadn’t called back about the AC they certainly wouldn’t do anything about this. The next day I just put everything back in my suitcase except for a small pile of dirty clothes folded and stacked in the corner, my extra pair of shoes and a contact lens case left on the counter. I came back to a note that said they couldn’t clean my room - even though they did including taking towels that were hanging up, cleaned the toilet because they left the seat up, and made the bed. Look, the place is clean and exactly what you expect for a Springhill Suites. But their attention to detail, ‘friendly staff’ etc etc that are in most reviews. I am just not seeing it which is a shame as I was looking for a new place to stay in the area and even if this place was close to the ratings that would have been great.

Staff was nice and the rooms were nice as well
